Blue Sky and Hot Air Balloons over the Garden Courtyard...

Thursday morning I wrote a post showing the entry to the Shady Lawn Antiques Garden Courtyard.  Friday morning I was greeted by the same brilliant blue sky and also by hot air Balloons flying over the SL Courtyard.

I was not too surprised by the balloons because it was the weekend of the 38th annual Walla Walla Hot Air Balloon Stampede.  Each Balloon Stampede is a little different due to different weather and wind conditions.  The balloons seem to almost always fly over our house but less frequently they will fly over Shady Lawn.

Then one of the Balloons dropped down lower in the sky.

I thought that the pilot would fire his burners and go back up.  Instead he landed in the field directly across from SL.

Here is a picture of the Balloon looking back toward Shady Lawn.  The Rees and Sumach Community Garden is actually in between the Balloon and SL.
