Another Winter View at Shady Lawn…
Followers of my blog know that three plus years ago, our daughter Carolyn, won a Fulbright Scholarship to teach English in Bulgaria. She started writing a blog, karolinkabulgaria, as a way to let her family and friends know what she was doing. Her blog has developed quite a following, so occasionally I just do what she does to see if I can develop quite a following too…
Carolyn loves to take and post architectural pictures of places that she has visited. So this morning when I was “visiting” Shady Lawn Antiques, I took the following picture.
The Winter light in Walla Walla is low angle, not too intense and is quite diffuse. When you pay attention it can be quite striking!
(This picture was taken several hours after I took the crystalline frost pictures in the previous post.)

Oh! Thanks dAd. This picture is great. The roof angles are so interesting.
Well, thank you (& Nick & Kellie) once again for the Christmas present camera. I couldn’t have been taking such “fancy” pictures without such a “fancy” camera!

Dave, “Fancy” seems so much unlike you.
